Robbie’s new movie Babylon is set to make its debut in Australia on January 19th. The actress opened up about her eagerness to land the role of Nellie LaRoy in the film, directed by Damien Chazelle. She expressed how strongly she felt about the script, saying it was unlike anything she had ever experienced before.
In a recent interview with W Magazine, Robbie shared that she was so determined to play the character that she even considered showing up at the director’s house. Eventually, when she met Chazelle, she boldly claimed the role as her own.
Robbie caused a stir when she mentioned suggesting a kissing scene with co-star Brad Pitt in the film. She explained that the idea was improvised and took Pitt by surprise. The actress humorously admitted to E! News that she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to kiss Brad Pitt.

Despite their surprise, the scene did end up in the final version of the film. Robbie, who is based in Los Angeles, will soon be headed back to her home country of Australia for the premiere of “Babylon” in Sydney on January 16. She will be joined by her co-star Diego Calva for the event.
